Rotary roadside clean up
THE Rotary Club of Cobden, Friends of Rotary and members from the Cobden Venturers group held their annual road side clean up recently.

The group targeted the Cobden-Camperdown Road from the Colac turn-off to Bostock’s Creek, collecting 14 large bags of rubbish.
“It was a real surprise to all,” Cobden Rotary president Gary Kimber said.
“Thanks to the Venturers who helped as part of their community work.

“Cobden Rotary is proud to support the Venturers and be part of this community effort.”
Among the rubbish collected included cash, credit cards, a solar panel, bottles and cans, polystyrene, a deceased kangaroo, rags, metal signs, a garbage bin, baling twine and a couple of hub caps.
Next year the group will be targeting the Cobden-Stoneyford Road.
