TEENAGE riding sensation Stella Horspole has continued her dominance in the show ring, bringing home several titles from the 2022 Royal Adelaide Show.
TEENAGE riding sensation Stella Horspole has continued her dominance in the show ring, bringing home several titles from the 2022 Royal Adelaide Show.
The talented 15-year-old rider from Leslie Manor continues to excel in the show ring and last week performed exceptionally well to win the under 18 ‘Smartest on Parade,’ the child’s Galloway under 15 hands (ridden by a child 17 and under) and was then named overall champion Child’s Galloway.
While in Adelaide, Stella rode ‘Argyl Fine Art’, owned by Fiona and Orlands Graetz.
She will also ride him in next week’s Royal Melbourne – competing in at least five different classes during the show.
Stella, who is currently in year nine at Camperdown College, is by no means a newcomer to the arena, having been first introduced to the sport shortly after turning two – and was first in the saddle at just 12 months old.
“Stella has always loved riding; it’s in her blood,” proud mum Sheree said.
“I’ve always ridden and so did her grandmother so it was probably inevitable. But she absolutely loves it and we’re very proud of all her achievements so far.”
