RSL day this week

MORTLAKE Golf Club will host an RSL Day this Saturday, March 29.

The stableford event will commence with a shot gun start at 12.30pm. All welcome.

Last Saturday’s aggregate stableford event was won by Ben Boers (10) and Dougal Ranken (15) on 69 points.

They were followed by runners-up Wes Wareham (17) and Kurt Robertson (9) 67 points.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Wes Wareham, 6/15 Peter Palmer and 9/18 Glen Byers.

Balls down the line went to Richard van Diemen, Steve Hubbard, Kevin Etherton, Peter Palmer, Hamish Weatherly and Andy Lamont.

Last Friday’s nine-hole twilight was won by Kevin Etherton 8-41-33 on countback from Peter Palmer 6-39-33.

Nearest the pin on the ninth was Glen Byers.
