RSL dedication recognised
THE Camperdown Returned and Services League (RSL) sub-branch has recently recognised one of its members for their service to the branch.

Ron Greagen was presented with a meritorious membership award at last Sunday’s annual general meeting of the RSL club.
Camperdown RSL sub-branch president Kevin Murray said Mr Greagen, who has concentrated his efforts in Cobden, has “single-handedly” raised around half of the sub-branch’s revenue.
“Ron is a tireless volunteer who is not only recognised for his efforts in the veteran community but also the broader community in Cobden and those efforts are most worthy of formal recognition,” he said.
“Ron, who has been a member of the Camperdown RSL Sub-Branch since May 2021, has become the face of the RSL in Cobden and his personal efforts in selling ANZAC Day badges in April and Remembrance Day poppies in November each year have been remarkable.”
The Camperdown RSL sub-branch is always looking for new members, and anyone interested in joining is encouraged to contact Mr Murray on 0418 568 303.
