School service tradition continues
RESIDENTS across the region paused for a moment at services across the district to pay their respects to the servicemen and women who served in war.

RESIDENTS across the region paused for a moment at services across the district to pay their respects to the servicemen and women who served in war.
In Cobden, community members joined with Cobden Primary School staff and students on Monday to mark the passing of the armistice on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
The school has been holding the service for about nine years which continued to be well supported by community members.
In Timboon, residents joined with the Timboon P-12 School in a special service at the Timboon Hall on Monday morning.
Remembrance Day marks an opportunity for Australians to reflect on the bravery of Australia’s veterans.
