Scouts lend a hand with Lake Cobden clean up
LAKE Cobden got a freshen up thanks to members of the Coden Scouts.
Thanks: Cobden Scouts members helped out with a clean up at Lake Cobden recently.
Cobden Scouts spokesperson Kelly Wain said a recent working bee at the lake went well.
“Scout members, leaders and families all spent time on Sunday (November 26) in the area surrounding Connie the Swan,” she said.
“They cleared litter, weeded the garden beds and spread a big pile of mulch around Connie.
“The scouts have agreed to take on an ongoing responsibility for keeping Connie and her area looking good.”
