Season ends for Lions
THE season has ended for all of the Corangamite Lions’ teams after losses in their away trip last Sunday.

The division one men started round 18 in fourth place, but missed a finals spot after a 2-1 loss to sixth-placed Ballarat at Morsehead Stadium.
Ballarat took a one nil lead in the 42nd minute, with Matthew Lyne equalising for the Lions in the 74th minute.
The home team sealed the win with an 86th minute goal.
The Lions finished their debut division one season in the Ballarat and District Soccer Association in fifth place with nine wins, seven losses and two draws.
The division one women’s match saw Corangamite have a 5-0 loss to Ballarat Red.
The Lions’ women finished their debut season in the BDSA in eighth place with three wins, 10 losses and two draws.
Corangamite’s division two men had a 4-1 loss to Ballarat last weekend.
Hom Karki scored the Lions’ only goal in the 58th minute.
The division two Lions finished the season in seventh place with six wins and 12 losses.
The under 12 Lions scored a strong 7-1 win over Bacchus Marsh Gold to finish their season on a high note.
Hamish Messer scored a hat-trick, with goals in the sixth, 20th and 31st minutes to give him 15 goals for the season.
Jay Finlayson scored a brace with 27th and 30th minute goals, with Bryce Miller scoring a 10th minute goal and Bacchus Marsh conceding an own goal in the 40th minute.
The under 12 Lions finished in eighth place on the ladder with four wins, 12 losses and a draw.
