Ten teams played two games before being treated to a barbecue lunch.

A third game was played and two teams rose to the top – David McNicoll, Leo Smith, Gertie MacDonald and Val Smith; Darren Grant, Josh Springall, Fletch Mirtschin and Baz Killey.

For Darren’s team, Fletch and Baz came from the recent twilight bowls seasons and have taken on the sport of bowls.

While the start was solid, the experience of Dave’s team started to shine through.

Congratulations to the 2024/25 Club Fours Champions, Dave McNicoll (s), Leo Smith, Gertie MacDonald and Val Smith.

A reminder that Tuesday social bowls are held every Tuesday at 1pm (weather permitting).

Bowlers can turn up with flat-soled shoes and bowls if you have them.

If not, there is a wide selection of sizes to play with on the day.

Arrival is 12.30pm for play to start at 1pm.

The annual general meeting will be held on Thursday, May 8 at the clubrooms. Nomination forms can be filled in prior or nominate on the night.

Thanks to all club members who volunteer their time to help keep the club running, tidy and well-fed and thanks to the community for participating in bowls at the club.

Without the support of the community clubs such as this would not exist.

Members will continue to practice in the off-season to get ready for the new season.
