Sergeant wins at Terang
MICHAEL Sergeant finished on 38 points to win the stableford at Terang Golf Club last weekend.
Sergeant finished ahead of a strong field of 21 players on Saturday, with Stephen Grinter the runner-up on 37 points on countback.
Down the line: Jason Karney (22) 37, Frank O’Connor (16) 37 and Jeremy Attrill (15) 37.
Nearest the pins: 6th Terry Beasley, 8th Patrick O’Connor and 11th Martin Wynd.
Friday’s nine-hole twilight stableford attracted 14 players and was won by Caleb Kavanagh (9) 22 points on countback from Gerard Meade (48) 22.
This Friday will be a twilight nine-hole stableford and Saturday will be stableford.
