Seventeen players contest trophy
SEVENTEEN players competed in a Davis/Alexander Foursomes event at the Cobden Golf Club last Wednesday.
Winners of the Davis/Alexander Foursomes at Cobden, Ellen Darcy and Debbie Ferrari were presented with the trophy by Laurel Davis (centre).
Ellen Darcy and Deb Ferrari won the day with 73 net from runners-up Di McKenzie and Carmel Darcy on 74.
Nearest the pin: 4th Carmel Darcy and Di McKenzie (A grade), 10th Thelma Green and Elaine Telford (A grade), Jeannine White and Mark Loving (B grade), 7th Thelma Green and Elaine Telford.
Balls down the line: Marie Smith and Pt Tickner (75 net), Janine Stevens and Sherine Healey (75.5 net), Elaine Telford and Thelma Green (75.5 net)
