Sharp performance at state titles
IN her debut state track and field championships, Terang athlete Summer Sharp has performed remarkably well.
Summer Sharp had a strong performance at last week’s state track and field championships.
The championships, held at Albert Park’s Lakeside Stadium last Wednesday, November 6, attracted top athletes from across the state.
After Sharp’s success at the GWR Track and Field Championships, the grade five student qualified to compete in several events.
Sharp had a successful day, finishing third overall in the girls 11-year-old multi class long jump and fourth overall in the girls 11-year-old multi class shot put.
Sharp had qualified for the MC 100m dash, however due to a delay caused by a thunderstorm she did not compete.
