Sheepvention will this year be held on Sunday, August 2 and Monday, August 3 and organisers believe there will once again be something for everyone – with trade stalls and entertainment through to kids activities and the return of the ever-popular fashion parade.

Sheepvention, which has long been regarded Victoria’s premier rural expo, continues to offer a showcase of agriculture, innovation and family-friendly activities.

The event is organised by the Hamilton Pastoral and Agricultural Society in conjunction with the Hamilton and Western District Sheep Show.

And while the name of the event prominently features sheep, it is not exclusively dedicated to sheep related activities – with a wide range of stalls, attractions, entertainment and amusements.

Sheepvention attracts over 250,000 visitors annually and has been a cornerstone of the region’s agricultural community since 1979.

It is a platform for agribusiness, livestock, machinery, equipment and professional service while also celebrating the broader agricultural lifestyle.
