Showjumping championships soar

SOME of the most talented riders from near and far flocked to Mortlake over the weekend.

The Caramut Riding Club hosted its Showjumping Festival on Saturday and Sunday at the Mortlake Showjumping Grounds.

Western District Newspapers caught all the action through the lens as riders showcased their skills at jumping heights between 65 and 110cm.

The club is set to return to the idyllic Tea Tree Lake setting between March 7-9 from 8am to 4pm for the Western District Showjumping Championships, the club’s premier competition which is home to the Binnie Barclay Grand Prix.
