Slow down – school’s back
DRIVERS are being urged to take care as students returned to school for Term Three this week.

Camperdown Police Acting Senior Sergeant Stuart Revell said police are reminding drivers to slow down around schools.
“Reduced limits are in effect from 8am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4pm on weekdays during school terms and those locations are well signed as either 40km/hr or 60km/hr zones,” he said.
“Watch carefully for children crossing roads, particularly near crossing, buses and parked vehicles.
“You will see police patrolling school zones to ensure the safety of pedestrians and road users.”
Drivers are also urged to take note of school areas where speeds are 40 kilometres per hour year-round.
