SPOOKY ghosts, superheroes and even a Pennywise or two were wandering local streets last Tuesday.
Local communities got into the Halloween spirit on with a number of Halloween trails organised.
More than 300 registrations were received in Cobden, with homes and businesses participating.
First Cobden Scouts organised the trail again this year, with trail co-ordinator Mandy Reid pleased with how the event went in Cobden.
“It was absolutely brilliant,” she said.
“There was lots of people around and there was over 300 registered.
“It was a great night.”
Fourteen homes and businesses nominated to be part of the trail in Cobden this year.
Simpson’s event saw 80 kids trick or treat at 13 stops.
Simpson and District Community Centre co-ordinator Debra Smith said the “kids had a ball and as usual got overloaded with treats”.
Events were also held in Timboon with youngsters Trick or Treating across the township.
