Spooky Halloween fun set for Cobden

COBDEN youngsters are in for a spooky treat this month with a Halloween trail being organised.
The popular Cobden Halloween Trail is back again this year and will be held on Tuesday, October 31 between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.
The trail will include a list of Cobden addresses included in the local Halloween fun.
First Cobden Scouts are organising the trail again this year, with trail co-ordinator Mandy Reid encouraging the community to get involved.
“We have more than 10 houses so far and we’re hoping to get more,” she said.
“The Cobden Scout Hall will be decorated up as well as the Cobden Visitor Information Centre and Cobden Gifts and Sweets.”
Ms Reid said she loves the annual event which saw hundreds of people involved last year.
“It’s good to see the kids dressed up and having fun,” she said.
“The community supports it each year.”
To register your children for the free community event visit cobdenhalloweentrail.eventbrite.com.au, to register your home for the trail or find out more information visit the Cobden Halloween Trail Facebook page.
A list of participating homes will be emailed out to those registered before the event and printed copies of the map will be available from the Cobden Scout Hall.
