St Pat’s celebrate special milestone
FOUNDATION students at St Patrick’s Primary School in Camperdown celebrated a special birthday on Wednesday.
Fun day: St Patrick’s Primary School Foundation students had a dress-up day this week.
FOUNDATION students at St Patrick’s Primary School in Camperdown celebrated a special birthday on Wednesday.
Teacher Pru Darcy said the day was a celebration for students who had completed learning their first 26 sounds.
She said the program involved each of the 26 sounds being assigned a character.
“The main character is Milo and we’re having a cake for his birthday,” Ms Darcy said.
“We’re having hot chips and a birthday cake.”
To mark the occasion, students came dressed up as the various 26 characters and also had a treasure hunt.
