State title for Callen
CAMPERDOWN College student Callen McLachlan has returned from the state athletics carnival with a gold medal.
Camperdown College Year 4 student Callen McLachlan left an impressive mark at the State Athletics Carnival last week.
The year four student performed exceptionally well in the triple jump event, recording a personal best distance of 9.29m to finish first.
Callen also competed in long jump and came fourth (only three centimes behind third place).
Callan’s first place has earned him the opportunity to compete in the upcoming national competition (details yet to be finalised).
