HEYTESBURY Princetown made it two from two when it toppled Pomborneit last weekend.

The new-look Storm is relishing its first season as a combined club in the South West Cricket league, following up its round one win over Cobden with a strong showing against Pombo last Saturday.

Storm won the toss and elected to bat in front of a home crowd on the weekend, with in-form opener Ryan Mottram contributing a handy 68 before being bowled.

Fellow opener Thomas Hunt was also effective at the crease, adding 27 before his dismissal, while Chris Vogels added 21 and Sam Lenehan 14 the best of the batsmen.

In return, Pomborneit were restricted to 10.73 off its 24.2 overs.

Best of the bowlers for Storm were Paul Vogels, who finished the day with 3/20 off six overs, while Chris Vogels, Ryan Mottram and Sam Lenehan each took two wickets.
