The Storm currently sits fourth with seven wins, just four points ahead of the fifth-placed Lakers after last weekend’s loss to Woorndoo.

Travelling to Woorndoo on Saturday, the Storm won the toss and elected to bat first.

The visitors struggled at the crease, with lower order batsman Sam Lenehan the Storm’s top scorer with 34 from 42 deliveries.

Opener Ryan Mottram contributed 28 while Travis Brown and Chris Vogels each added 18 runs while Paul Vogels was unbeaten on 13.

The team finished the day on 10/163 in the 49th over while the Tigers went on to make 8/165 in the final over thanks to a strong knock of 70 from opener Mark Murphy and 33 from team-mate Jacob Fowler.

Best of the bowlers for the Storm was Sam Lenehan with 2/18 from six overs.

Round 12 this weekend will see the Storm take on Bookaar at Timboon Recreation Reserve on Saturday in a fourth versus third clash.
