Strong field at Mortlake
LAST Saturday’s stableford event at Mortlake Golf Club attracted another quality field.
Runner-up in the 2025 Bates IGA handicap matchplay Richard van Diemen (left) with winner, Aaron Davies.
The winner on the day was David Hubbard (47) 38 points from runner-up Glen Birnie (10) 36 points.
Nearest the pins: 3/12 Will Kain, 6/15 Jordan Wareham and 9/18 Glen Birnie.
Balls down the line went to Aaron Davies, Rob Field and Bruce Twaddle.
Next week’s event will be par.
