Strong field at Terang

THIRTY-five players contested a stableford event at the Terang Golf Club last Saturday.

The A grade winner was Tim Keane (10) 36 points from George Beasley (scratch) 35.

B grade went to Daryl Johnstone (22) 43 points from runner-up Ethan Wyss (18) 39.

Balls down the line went to Brad Lucas (28) 37, Ryley Hutchins (16) 37, Henry Roberts (37) 34 and Josh Brown (scratch) 34.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Caleb Kavanagh, 6th Josh Brown, 8th Phil Beasley and 11th Phil Beasley.

Last Sunday’s stableford was won by Max Kavanagh (13) 35 on countback from runner-up Brad Lucas (27) 35 on countback.

An all-day stableford competition will be held on this Friday’s public holiday, as well as the regular Saturday and Sunday competitions this weekend.
