Strong field at Terang
THIRTY-one players competed in last week’s event at the Terang Golf Club on Thursday.
The winner of the ladies’ 18 hole competition was Lynette Coxon on 38 points, with Cate Glennon the runner-up on 36 on countback from Karen Mather.
The men’s competition was won by Trevor Beasley on 36, on countback from Caleb Perry 36.
Balls down the line went to Karen Mather 36, Fred Beasley 35, Jenny Meade 35, Sybil Uebergang 35, Linda Kenna 35 and Elaine Hrabar 35.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Sharee Scanlon, 6th Colin Venn, 8th Paddy Scanlon and 11th Caleb Perry.
Seven players competed in the nine hole, all day stableford with the winner being Michelle Bourke on 22 points, followed by Adam Monson on 22.
This week will be an 18 hole and nine hole all-day stableford.
