HEAVY rainfall in the middle of the month helped reach strong rainfall results for September.
Camperdown recorded an above higher than average rainfall with a total of mm of rain hitting the ground for the 93month, above the long-term average of 87.3mm.
The highest daily rainfall was recorded on September 19, with 32mm falling, according to the Bureau of Meteorology records.
So far this year 595.2mm of rain has fallen over Camperdown.
In Derrinallum the rainfall was slightly lower; with 75.4mm of rain hitting the ground. The long-term average is 66mm.
The highest daily rainfall was 18.4mm on September 27.
At the end of September, a total of 516.8mm had fallen over Derrinallum for the year.
Lismore was drier than Derrinallum and Camperdown, with 55.6mm of rain falling, slightly below the long-term average of 62.2mm.
The highest daily rainfall was experienced on September 27, with 11.8mm of rain falling.
For the first nine months of the year, 455.5mm of rain hit the ground in Lismore.
