Strong round from Absalom

THIRTY-TWO players competed for the privilege pot (stableford event) at Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.

The A grade competition was won by D. Absalom on 40 points, followed by A. Giles on 39.

B grade was won by U. Twynstra on 40, with M. Loving the runner-up on 31.

Balls down the line went to S. Dawson, J. Walker, L. Finney, W. Bailey and S. Rix.

Nearest the pins: 4th S. Dawson, 7th C. Dobson, 10th A. Stevens, closest second on the 2nd D. Absalom and closest on the 14th J. Brown.

U. Twynstra won the pot with 40 points.

This Saturday, July 19, will be pairs multiplication (stableford) – get your own partner.
