Strong round from Darcy
CARMEL Darcy had a good round at the Cobden Golf Course last Wednesday, to take the win in A grade.
She finished on 34 points to lead on a countback from Alex Holster on 34.
B grade was won by Di McKenzie 32 points from runner-up Nettie Hose on 29.
Nearest the pins: A grade – 4th Deb Ferrari, 10th Carmel Darcy; B grade – 4th Chloe Healey, 10th Di McKenzie; C grade – 4th and 10th Ev Boyd; gents – 4th Alex Holster.
Nearest the pin on the Camperdown Pre-Mix 7th hole was Sherine Healey.
Nearest the pin, second shot on the 8th was Sherine Healey (A grade) and Ev Boyd (C grade).
Balls down the line went to Glen Birnie 34 on countback, Ulbe Twynstra 33 and Sherine Healey 31.
Thirty-five players enjoyed a stableford competition at the club last Saturday.
A grade was won by C. Horan on 37 points from R. Barlow 36.
B grade went to A. Holster 39 from S. Mason 38.
