Strong support for school trivia night
A STRONG crowd at last Friday’s trivia night saw Lismore Primary School raise over $4000 to go towards new equipment.

Around 100 people attended the annual trivia night, which is the school’s major fundraiser for the year.
Organiser Tracey Leech extended her gratitude towards the various sponsors of the evening, which include many local businesses.
“We are very grateful for all our very generous donations that we received from businesses around the districts,” she said.
“Attendance was well up on our last one with a variety of age groups and different communities attending.
“Everyone that attended had a great night, with most saying they’ll be back next year.
“A lot had never been before and said they had a great time.”

The funds raised at this year’s event will go towards purchasing a new barbecue for the school as well as sports equipment for sports days and family days.
Overall winners of the trivia were the Murnong Indigenous Garden Team, with a variety of prizes also handed out through different raffles held throughout the night.
