Students don silly socks

Bright and colourful: Ava Stace, Addison Brebner and Evie Smith enjoyed the opportunity to show off their brightest socks last Wednesday.

Junior Student Council coordinator Harriet Place said the Silly Sock Day was the first fundraiser for the year for the council.

“All funds raised will go towards the local Sunnyside Shop,” she said.

“It was wonderful to see so many bright, colourful and creative socks around the campus.

“Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped support such a great local cause.”

A number of brightly coloured socks were on show, including cat-themed socks and laced socks.
