Students navigate town
YEAR Two students at Camperdown College last week took the opportunity to navigate Camperdown as part their maths lesson.
Mapping it out: Camperdown College students put their map-reading skills to the test in town recently.
Year Two teacher Darcie Seers said students explored Camperdown with the use of maps and compass directions last Tuesday.
“It was a fun and engaging experience where students practised using north, south, east and west and directional language like left, right, forwards and backwards to guide their journey,” she said.
“We were very lucky with the weather and proud of how confidently students applied their directional language skills in the real world.”
