Students shine on the court
CAMPERDOWN College was well represented on the basketball courts at the recent HSSSD junior competition.
Camperdown College’s year eight basketballers will now compete at the GWR competition later this year.
The competition, held in Terang last Thursday, attracted some strong teams across the district.
Camperdown’s year seven girls’ team showed excellent team-work and sportsmanship throughout the day.
They lost two tough games and drew one but never game up, enjoying their time on the court.
The year eight boys’ team had a strong day, winning two of the three games they played.
After finishing with a high percentage, the year eight team will now progress to the Greater Western Region (GWR) competition in November.
