Students shine on the track
BATHED in sunshine, Camperdown College primary students enjoyed their annual athletics carnival last Friday.
Camperdown College prep-year 6 age group champions with their medals and ribbons from the athletics sports.
Spurred on by a vocal crowd, students were encouraged to achieve their best and showed great team-work and effort throughout the day.
Purrumbete House made it two from two so far this year, finishing on top of the points ladder.

Age group champions for the day were Octavia Spaull and Van Duynhoven (5/6 year old), Evie Smith and Jude Martin (seven years), Lucy Christensen and Axel Duynhoven (eight years), Natalie Corrigan and Billy Hillman (nine), Georgie Harrison and Spencer Marshall (10), Emily Menzies and Jack Hillman (11), and Kensie Austin-Ruff and Callen McLachlan (12/13).
More than 30 athletes will represent the college at the CDSSA District Athletics today (Friday).
