Students survey Camperdown
STUDENTS from Mercy Regional College’s Year Seven humanities class spent the day exploring Camperdown on Monday, May 11 as part of an assessment.

Students wandered the streets, making notes on whether footpaths and crossings were safe to use, the types of stores available on the main street and more.
Humanities teacher Alissa Grisenti said the students completed a survey assessing the liveability of the town.
“The survey was a component of the students’ humanities assessment, in which they consider the services and facilities available in Camperdown and then evaluate the town’s strengths and areas for improvement,” she said.
“It was a great afternoon outside of the classroom, applying what students had been learning in the previous weeks.”
