Students to host exhibition this weekend
MERCY Regional College is hosting its annual Art and Technology Exhibition this weekend.
MERCY Regional College is hosting its annual Art and Technology Exhibition this weekend.
The exhibition of students’ work will be displayed in the Terang Courthouse on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 2pm.
The exhibition will be launched with a drinks and nibbles event on Friday night between 5pm and 7pm.
MRC leader of arts domain Tina Jenkins said the wider community was invited to attend the “celebration of MRC talents”.
“The exhibition represents a culmination of this year’s work by students,” she said.
“It encourages creativity and imagination.”
Exhibits will include work from a variety of subjects including art, hospitality, studio art, textiles, media, visual communication, design and woodwork.
“The students use a variety of media to produce their compelling works of art and technology,” Ms Jenkins said.
“They are learning to create unified compositions that effectively communicate their ideas and expertise and they would love to share their final creations with the community.”
