Success for Timboon club

MEMBERS of the Timboon Field and Game club have performed well at the recent Oceania Championships.

The 2024 FITASC championships, held at Mudgee in New South Wales at the end of last month, attracted some of the best sporting clay shooters from across the country.

Five members from the Timboon club entered the competition, with three coming home with placings.

Ben Gaut finished second in A grade and 15th overall on a score of 159/200 while Paul Gaut finished third in C grade on 96/200.

Charlie Hudson also had a great day out, finishing the day on 138/200 and was placed fourth in the ladies for the championship and third in the Beretta Cup for her combined scores.

Hudson will head to the World Championships later this year.
