Sue celebrates 30 years at Cobdenhealth

FOR Cobdenhealth’s Sue Loving, coming to work each day has been a pleasure.
Earlier this month she celebrated a significant milestone at Cobdenhealth – 30 years.
Starting as a kitchenhand before moving onto cleaning, now Ms Loving is the leisure and lifestyle co-ordinator.
“I absolutely love it,” she said.
“I love coming to work.
“I couldn’t ask for a better job, you’re part of their (the residents lives).”
Ms Loving took on the role of leisure and lifestyle co-ordinator in June 2021 and believes she has found her calling.
“I love the friendly environment; everyone is so nice – the residents are what makes the job,” she said.
“This is my dream job.”
Cobdenhealth staff and residents helped celebrate the special milestone on August 3 with two cakes.
“It was a beautiful day,” Ms Loving said.
“I’d like to thank everyone, it was lovely.”
Cobdenhealth chief executive officer Bill Tsimis described Ms Loving as a “huge asset” for Cobdenhealth.
“The energy and love that Sue has for the facility and the residents is second-to-none,” he said.
“I’m very proud to have Sue as part of the team.
“I think the residents enjoy everything she brings to the table.”
Mr Tsimis said Ms Loving’s role was broader than providing activities for resident.
“She goes over and above,” he said.
“She’s a huge asset.”
