Super Saturday at Cobden
COBDEN tennis players enjoyed a Super Saturday for their grand final matches last weekend.
The juniors and seniors all played at the same time, with games starting earlier to beat the heat.
In a close junior match between Asics and Dunlop, a super set was needed to decide the result.
Jack Bourke and Charlotte Dean defeated Jasmine Plozza and Chase Fleming 6-4 which gave the win to Dunlop with 29 games, 4 sets over Asics 27 games, three sets.

Royce Rowe and Hafidh Sofyan lost to Elizabeth Plozza and Isabel Moloney 1-6.
Jack Bourke and Royce Rowe def Jasmine and Elizabeth Plozza 6-3.
Charlotte Dean and Hafidh Sofyan lost to Chase Fleming and Isabel Moloney 3-6.
Jack Bourke defeated Jasmine Plozza 6-0.
Charlotte Dean and Royce Rowe lost to Chase Fleming and Elizabeth Plozza 1-6.
Jack Bourke (Dunlop) was voted the Most Valuable Player.
In the seniors, Cobden Cougars four sets, 48 games defeated United Unicorns five sets, 40 games.
Austin de Bie and Daniel Gilmour def Blake and Rhian Sealey 7-5.
Riley Henry and Nick Bennett def Kyla Groves and Zoe Morrison 6-1.
Nicole McVilly and Michelle Beard lost to Connor Burgin and Leanne Gollan 6-7.
Austin de Bie and Riley Henry lost to Blake Sealey and Kyla Groves 3-6.
Daniel Gilmour and Michelle Beard def Rhian Sealey and Leanne Gollan 6-0.
