Support for the scouts
THE 1st Cobden Scouts Group received a boost recently.
Thank you: Cobden Uniting Church Adult Fellowship's Margaret Matthews presented the 1st Cobden Scout Group with a cheque for $500.

Cobden scout helper Mandy Reid thanked the fellowship for its support.
“We’re putting it towards sending some kids to jambouree and camping equipment,” she said.
“We’re very appreciative of the group to be able to donate the money to us.
“It’s just really good that we are in a good and caring community and they though of us as a group to donate to.”
