Support those impacted by cancer
BOSTOCK’S Creek Hall committee are hosting a Biggest Morning Tea this May to raise funds for the Cancer Council which will go towards vital cancer research and support services.
A Biggest Morning Tea is an annual event anyone can host in May or June designed to bring people together to enjoy a morning tea and fundraise for cancer.
Bostock’s Creek Hall committee secretary and treasurer Rhikki-lee Coverdale said the committee were hoping people would come along to share in a cuppa for a good cause.
“We will have hot and cold drinks along with plates of delicious food to share around,” she said.
“There will be a raffle to win, an incredible on site silent auction, games and quizzes plus the option to enter into our greatest baker or just taste their incredible food and be a judge.
“Tables can be booked for groups such as work or family, or you’re welcome to sit anywhere to mingle with community members.
“Please share around to all friends and family to get them to come along for the event to help us reach our donation goal and enjoy a great time.”
Mrs Coverdale said she was asking people to RSVP by May 15 in order for the committee to cater for numbers.
“No entry fee is set – we only ask you provide a cash donation at the entry donation box,” she said.
“It can be as little as a gold coin or you’re welcome to donate a larger amount.
“If you would like to donate a larger amount that’s not in cash, please contact me or scan our personalised QR code and donate online.

“I’m also chasing some volunteers to assist with making some plates of food for this event.”
Bostock’s Creek Hall’s Biggest Morning Tea will be held on May 24 and will run from 11am to 2pm.
