Surprise visitor calls in
COBDENHEALTH is no stranger to visitors, however one in particular left an impression last week.
Last Wednesday night a wallaby made its way inside the front reception area and hallways before making a speedy exit.
The front sensor door was unlocked to allow staff to exit from evening shift and enter for the night shift at about10.45pm
The wallaby just happened to come to the front door, jumped on the mat and opened the door let themselves in.
Staff were able to round up the unusual visitor and direct it out the door again.
The marsupial visitor probably was not what they had in mind when the facility was first set up as a Bush Nursing Hospital.
One has to wonder whether the wallaby remembered to check in during their visit.
