Talent on the hockey pitch

The Craters played out an exciting game against Technique, resulting in a 2-2 draw.

The team included three players who made their turf debut at Hockey South West.

It was great to see some of the more experienced players encouraging and supporting their team-mates as they learnt the fast-paced turf game.

The Lakers went down 4-6 to the Mariners but never gave up, showing plenty of determination and grit from the first whistle to the last.

Congratulations to Oliver Eagle who was named player of the match for his all-round performance.

Well done also to Mason Lucas who represented Corangamite Hockey Club in the under 10 competition and was awarded player of the match.
