Tasty breakfast in Simpson
SIMPSON Primary School families enjoyed a tasty breakfast for Shrove Tuesday recently.
Shrove Tuesday: Tummies were full with pancakes at Simpson Primary School recently.
School principal Melissa Berry said students invited parents and carers in for a pancake breakfast.
She said the Prep and Year 1 students ate breakfast with their Year 5/6 buddies on the day.
“It was a great turnout by the families,” Mrs Berry said.
“It gave us the opportunity to introduce new families and staff.
“The morning was a great way to continue what has been a very smooth start to the year.”
Mrs Berry thanked the school community for its support on the day.
“There were many bellies full of pancakes,” she said.
