Term three hockey begins
THERE was plenty of hockey action for local children with the start of term three.
Hockey South West’s under 12s in Warrnambool.
THERE was plenty of hockey action for local children with the start of term three.
The under 16s Hockey 5's mini carnival in Warrnambool was a great way to kick off Hockey South West’s term three competition last Friday night.
Best players (as voted by spectators) were Lakers A - Noah and Akeisha, Lakers B - Lachie and Lucas, Craters A - Patrick and Tavish and Craters B - Jonah and Charlotte.
The under 12s did a great job in Warrnambool last Saturday for the Hockey 5s event.
Noah and Mali both stepped up to be goalies and the kids all played well – even through a rainstorm.
The final score was an 8-3 win to purple with goals scored by Maisie, Amber, Henry, Grace and Jacob.
