SIMPSON Primary School grade 6 students helped spread Christmas cheer at Cobdenhealth on Monday.
Armed with baskets of homemade Christmas cake and shortbread, the students delivered the parcels to residents.
The initiative, which is a long-standing tradition, was completed with the assistance of the Simpson Lions Club.
Club member Bev Hawkes said the day was always popular for residents and students alike.
“The kids sang Christmas carols as well for residents,” she said.
“I think the kids get a lot out of it.”
