The Shark returns to Camperdown
MEMBERS of University of the 3rd Age (U3A) Corangamite were visited by a special guest at their meeting on Tuesday, April 15, who had plenty to share about the world of trivia and quizzes in TV.
Brydon Coverdale, colloquially known as ‘The Shark’ from Channel 7’s The Chase and originally from Camperdown, met with forty members to share his journey over 25 years in to his love of TV quiz shows.
U3A member Gary Kimber said Mr Coverdale had always been fascinated with the collection and recall of all sorts of information.
“Brydon said he always wanted to be on TV quizzes such as Sale of the Century since the age of 18,” he said.
“Brydon told us all about The Chase with many funny and unusual incidents.
“Brydon answered many questions from the record number of members present, received a gift and then joined us all for a scrumptious afternoon tea.
“A fantastic program for U3A and thank you Brydon for giving your precious time.”
