The spirit of Christmas: St Vinnies volunteer Maureen Larkins and Ray White Camperdown employees Sharon Savage and Nadine McGillivray are encouraging residents to share the joy of Christmas for this year’s ‘A Little Ray of Giving’.

WITH the festive season already gearing up in some stores, Ray White Camperdown has teamed up with St Vincent de Paul Society (St Vinnies) Camperdown for a special Christmas drive.

The ‘A Little Ray of Giving’ initiative will see the business collecting donated presents throughout the next few weeks so families in need can have something under the tree on Christmas.

The presents will then go to St Vinnies, where they will be sorted and distributed to families in the region.

Gifts can be delivered between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday until 12noon Friday, December 15 to allow for distribution.

A Christmas tree had been put up in the Ray White Camperdown office as a drop-off point for donated presents.

St Vinnies Victoria volunteer Pat Nicholson said the initiative will do a lot of good in the community.

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ray White Camperdown for their generous donation of toys through the 'A Little Ray of Giving' Christmas initiative,” she said.

“Their kindness will bring immense joy to the families we assist.

“The initiative, with its Giving Tree adorned with gifts from locals, embodies the true spirit of community and kindness.

“The donated toys will make a significant difference in the lives of children, brightening the holiday season for families facing challenges.”

A Little Ray of Giving organiser Sharon Savage is hopeful residents will dig deep for those in need.

“I just hope everyone finds it in their heart to donate to this worthy initiative,” she said.

“Your donations will help bring happiness to families and children this festive season.

“By donating, you are helping to put a smile on the faces of those in need this Christmas.”
