Theatre to be merry and bright
THE sounds of Christmas carols will be heard from the Theatre Royal this Sunday as the Camperdown Theatre Company and Lakes and Craters Band join forces once again at present the 74th Camperdown Carols by Candlelight.

The community event will be held at the Theatre Royal, starting at 7pm, and is free to attend.
Donations of either cash or non-perishable food items for Camperdown Food Bank will be gratefully accepted in the foyer.
Carols organiser Toby McKenzie said he is looking forward to another “wonderful” Carols by Candlelight.
“We look forward to another fantastic evening of celebrations,” he said.
“We also encourage everyone to donate to our local Food Bank, with donations going to local families in need this Christmas.
“There are some great local performers lined up and the band and choir have been preparing for many weeks to ensure that it is a great night.
“It will be a fun filled weekend, with ‘Celebrate Christmas in Camperdown’ happening down the street as well.”

Jammin’ Studio; and
Camperdown Community House Choir.
Doors open at 6.30pm. Battery candles will be available for $2 on the night, with a canteen also operating.
