Timboon basketballers celebrate season
TIMBOON basketballers have celebrated another successful season on the courts.
Grand final matches were recently played across all senior and junior grades, and presentations made.
In the senior men’s competition, Dunk A Licious defeated Celtics 28-26.
Season MVP went to Campbell McKenzie while Mitch Wallace took out the MVP award for the grand final.
Under 18 boys – Heat defeated Mavericks 27-24.
Season MVP was William Plozza while Alby Jones was named runner-up.
The grand final MVP was Zane Potter.
Under 16 girls – Lightning defeated Flames 30-20.
The grand final MVP was Annie Doolan while coaches’ awards went to Imogen Woods and Amber Bartlett.
Under 13 mixed - Bulls defeated Blazers 33-28.
The season MVP player was Harley Meade (runner-up Nelson Cook) while the grand final MVP went to Harry Salmon.
