Timboon P-12 School preps have officially settled in to school and are becoming assured little learners thanks to the tutelage of teachers Linda Ludeman and Isabella McGifford.

“They’ve settled in beautifully – we’ve got 36 preps,” Ms Ludeman said.

“They’ve been learning their phonics, they’ve been doing our new EMP maths program, they’ve just been settling in to the normal school routine.

“They’ve had a lot of transition from the kindergarten.

“They had informal visits and they had three more formal transition sessions where they worked with the prep teachers and the prep children.”

Ms Ludeman said the students have had a lot of practice and are getting along well with other students at school.

“They’ve all come to school on the bus on their first day of school, at least the ones who travel on the bus on the first day of school, they’ve settled in very well,” she said.

“They’re good friends with the Grade Ones because they know them from kinder and a lot of them are part of the community so they know a lot of people.”

The preps are looking forward to a bright future ahead and will continue to conquer in the classroom.
