TOPs gets into festive spirit

THE Timboon Opportunity Shop (TOPS) is decidedly festive at the moment as volunteers unpack Christmas in July.
“The volunteers were all excited to be displaying our Christmas goodies, the decorations of silver balls and tinsel and ornaments,” TOPS co-ordinator Brenda Parfett said.
“There is wrapping paper, and gifts galore and tables of Christmas needs.
“Molly our model is dressed in red and white with a fluffy skirt trim and a red and white hat.”
Mrs Parfett said Molly was joined by two other models - Topsy and Norman – who reign in the shed.
“They tower over all volunteers at over six foot high, so it is a bit of a challenge to dress them but well done Monica,” she said.
“There are also brand new Christmas trees, some in the shed also.
“We still have a great range of bicycles and furniture when you are admiring our models, you can also check out the chairs and furniture.
There is a beautiful Glass top table looking for a home, with chrome legs this is also an extension table would seat eight.
“So if you are looking for a drive come to TOPS in Timboon and look at all the water rushing under the bridge at Curdies.”
