TOPS supports local community
TIMBOON and district community groups in need of a little support are encouraged to talk to Timboon Opportunity Shop (TOPS) volunteers.
TIMBOON and district community groups in need of a little support are encouraged to talk to Timboon Opportunity Shop (TOPS) volunteers.
TOPS co-ordinator Brenda Parfett said the shop is again in a position to return money back to the community.
“Thanks to valuable volunteers and a generous community that donate goods to us, we then check it over and sort and price each article,” she said.
“Each November and March we are able to do this, and at this time of the year we are able to donate financial help to organisations in the community.
“If you are a member of an organisation that could do with a lift financially, pick up a form from TOPS and fill it in or contact me if you want to ask a question. 0407 850 611.”
Mrs Parfett said TOPS, nestled in Curdievale Road Timboon, is a small shop with a big heart.
“That is because of the wonderful volunteers and customers that visit,” she said.
“You can admire our model Molly in window wearing the latest fashions and I can’t wait to see what she will be wearing as Spring Racing time draws near, all the items she wears are for sale.
“It’s a good place for buying goods and gifts or a good laugh.”
